We’re kicking off 2025 with a major announcement: RunwayFBU is joining forces with Microsoft in a collaboration that combines Microsoft’s global reach, technological expertise, and extensive partner network with RunwayFBU’s deep focus on scaling early-stage industrial technology startups.

This collaboration provides RunwayFBU portfolio companies and Tech Hub members with exclusive access to Microsoft’s resources and mentorship, helping startups develop scalable solutions for the industrial sector.

What this means in practice:

- Office hours with experts on Microsoft's offering

- Deep-dives into software architecture, security, and cloud optimization

- Curated workshops on leveraging Azure for industrial applications

Together, we are committed to equipping startups with the tools, expertise, and platforms they need to drive transformative innovation in industrial software.

"Building on our deep collaboration with the larger Aker group of companies, we are very excited to work with RunwayFBU to enable and help the next generation of startups in the industrial sector" celebrates Ole Henrik Ree, Strategic Client Director at Microsoft.

“We are very excited about this collaboration with Microsoft. It’s a unique collaboration that provides our Tech Hub members and portfolio companies with hands-on support for scaling—whether it’s optimizing architecture, cloud services, or obtaining critical security certifications,” says Karen Elisabeth Ohm Heskja, Director of Partnerships at RunwayFBU.
